微軟結束Xbox向後兼容計劃但Scarlett將能夠運行Xbox One遊戲
“本週之後，我們沒有計劃在Xbox One上添加額外的原始Xbox或Xbox 360遊戲的兼容性。”
微軟已承諾讓所有Xbox One遊戲都在Scarlett上運行，當然，也包括歷史上所有Xbox的遊戲。雖然舊遊戲的目錄可能正在完成，但微軟正在增加許多遊戲，因為它看起來趨向於Scarlett的兼容性。向後兼容的舊Xbox經典包括：
