Konami官博宣佈《實況足球》新作《eFootball》將在9月30日發售，免費登上主機及PC平臺。 首發時僅支援線下本地對戰及線上活動模式。 線下與AI或朋友對戰有9個真實球會及6個球場供選擇。 玩家也可與上一代/下一代主機對戰。

Konami表示《eFootball》的首個重要更新將在秋季到來，包括多個新模式，其中就有創意隊伍模式，在裡面玩家可以打造他們自己的隊伍，類似於EA《FIFA》遊戲中的終極球隊模式。
