PotPlayer播放器是KMPlayer的製作者姜龍喜先生進入Daum公司後的新一代作品，目前主窗口在全力開發中。PotPlayer的優勢在於強大的內置解碼器；而KMPlayer 的優勢在於強大的定制能力和個性化功能。

PotPlayer使用VC++ 編寫，KMPlayer為Delphi 編寫。是Daum 公司的一款網絡播放器，有自己的獨立著作權，並非由姜龍喜先生原創，目前由KMPlayer 的原始作者姜龍喜進行後續開發。
