NVIDIA發布了新的顯卡驅動GeForce 440.97 WHQL，對於遊戲優化，英偉達可謂盡心盡力。近日英偉達為旗下顯卡推出了全新驅動，GeForce 440.97 WHQL驅動程序專門針對即將發售的《使命召喚16：現代戰爭》《天外世界》進行了優化，將為玩家帶來最佳遊戲體驗。

這款新驅動為基於OpenGL和Vulkan的應用增加了窗口化G-SYNC的支持，修復了《星球大戰：前線2》《FIFA 19》《FIFA 20》遊戲崩潰的問題，還解決了《Apex英雄》和《極限競速：地平線4》畫面顯示問題。

－性能提升

GeForce 440.97新驅動下，《使命召喚16：現代戰爭》《天外世界》《Apex英雄》、《戰地5》、《極限競速：地平線4》、《奇異小隊》、《殭屍世界大戰》等遊戲的性能，相比於此前的431.60版本，可提升最多達23.4％。

當然具體提升幅度取決於遊戲、顯卡、分辨率、畫質等不同設定，最好的情況來自於RTX 2080 Super 1080p和最高畫質下跑《Apex英雄》。

－超低延遲

AMD發布RX 5700系列的同時提出了Anti-Lag康延遲技術，NVIDIA有了類似的回應，在驅動控制面板中增加了一個“低延遲模式”(Low-Latency Mode)，可以選擇關閉(Off)、開啟(On)、超級(Ultra)三種模式。

關閉狀態下游戲引擎自動在隊列中保存1-3幀作為最大渲染輸出，開啟狀態下隊列幀數量為1，等同於舊驅動設置Max_Prerendered_Frames = 1。

超低延遲模式下，則可實現實時幀畫面調度，在GPU剛剛需要的時候提交幀畫面，並立即開始渲染，相比此前的預渲染幀畫面調整技術，可以將延遲進一步降低最多達33％。

如果遊戲受制於顯卡瓶頸，幀率在60-100FPS之間，低延遲模式最有用，可以在不損失畫質的前提下加快遊戲響應，而且可以針對每個遊戲設置不同的延遲模式。

該技術支持NVIDIA所有顯卡型號，適用於DX9、DX11遊戲，而在DX12、Vulkan都是遊戲自己決定隊列幀。

－整數縮放

很多遊戲在高分辨率下不得不放大像素，導致畫面模糊，而整數縮放(Integer Scaling)則可以在拉升分辨率的同時保持畫面細節與清晰度。

該技術僅限圖靈架構GPU，因為它們內置了硬件加速可編程縮放濾鏡，功能開關也可以在驅動控制面板中找到。

－圖像銳化

這次是GeForce Experience，增加了一個新的銳化濾鏡(Sharpen Freestyle)，似乎是針對AMD RIS銳化技術而來。

相比現在的細節濾鏡，銳化濾鏡可以改進圖像畫質，性能損失也只有原來的一半，而且允許玩家0％-100％自定義銳化程度，也可以針對每個遊戲不同設置。

它全面支持DX9、DX11、DX12、Vulkan遊戲。

－ 30位色彩

此前的Studio Driver驅動已經在部分遊戲卡上開啟了30位色彩，可顯示色彩數從1670萬增加到10億，現在終於加入了遊戲驅動，全面支持GeForce、Titan系列。

支持軟件包括：Adobe Photoshop、Adobe Premiere Pro、Autodesk RV、Colorfront Transkoder、Assimilate Scratch、Foundry Nuke等等。

此外，新驅動還支持更多G-Sync兼容顯示器，包括華碩VG27A、宏碁CP3271、宏碁XB273K GP等等，優化可玩設置(OPS)也支持更多遊戲。
