根據Entertainment報導，《老友記》為慶祝上映25週年，將會在9月23日、9月28日和10月2日登陸美國院線，播出全新的4K高清版本。華納兄弟電視集團主席兼首席市場官Lisa Gregorian表示：“在上映25年之後，《老友記》仍然在持續地帶來巨大的影響，這也是Marta Kauffman、David Crane、Kevin Bright和極具天分的劇組們天才的證明。”
